Strawberry Jam

I have discovered Chia seed, friends!

Chia seeds are apparently incredibly healthy1)and there are SO MANY THINGs one can do with them!

These are so quick and easy to make, and so delicious!

I made two kinds of jam with them in these past couple of days:

  1. Blackberry Chia Jam; and
  2. Strawberry Lime Chia Jam

Blackberry Chia Jam

  • Ingredients: 1 cup blackberries, 1 table spoon chia seeds, 1 table spoon sugar-free syrup, 1 tablespoon warm water
  • Instructions: blend ingredients, pour into glass jar, refrigerate for 1 hour, all set.

Strawberry/Lime Chia Jam

  • Ingredients: 1 cup strawberries, 1 tea spoon fresh lime juice, 1 table spoon chia seeds, 1 table spoon sugar-free syrup, 1 tablespoon warm water
  • Instructions: blend ingredients, pour into glass jar, refrigerate for 1 hour, all set.

Apple Cinnamon Chia Jam

  • Ingredients: 1 large apple diced, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons Splenda┬«, 10 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • Instructions:
  1. put apple, cinnamon, splenda, etc. into microwavable bowl and cover with water;
  2. microwave for 10 minutes,
  3. pour into food processor with chia seeds,
  4. blend until smooth,
  5. pour into jar with lid, screw on lid,
  6. refrigerate for 5 to 12 hours to set
  7. enjoy!
